Emma's Steakhaus in Hanau

MY favorite for steaks in Hanau. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

With Emma, ​​I always have the feeling that it is a very special experience. Probably the ambience makes it.

My meal came after half an hour but my husband's only after an hour after mine and unfortunately the steak was too well done, went back and the new steak was still too raw, bleu.

The restaurant is easily accessible in old Kesselstadt. Finding a parking space was no problem at all. Unfortunately, the positive impressions end there, from then on it went downhill .... We got a table from a nice employee, unfortunately under a flickering "chandelier". You get drowsy while reading the menu. Since we unfortunately don't like alcoholic drinks, we ordered 2 colas. Unfortunately we didn't know at the time that the liter costs 17.50 euros (0.2 liters for 3.50 euros). So about as much as a bottle of wine. I found that a bit surprising. Nobody expects supermarket prices but a premium of over 1,500% is more at the upper end. Imagine if other traders would calculate their goods in the same way. But it doesn't matter. The few euros didn't kill us either. It got worse with the main course. There is only steak. At first I found that very positive. It was rather negative that 5 different cooking levels are offered but unfortunately cannot be implemented. The fact that I like to eat my steak "well done" was received with skepticism and I was advised that there is no guarantee that it will taste good. OK. Unusual but okay. My wife ordered a fillet steak "medium", I ordered a rump steak "well done". My wife got a fillet steak "medium rare", I got a rump steak "medium". Unfortunately, since I don't eat raw meat, I asked them to correct this. Then I got two other steaks, which visually reminded me of pork neck steaks in the 3 euro class. These weren't just "well done" but rather "shoe soles". For me, if you can't do something, it's absolutely okay not to offer it. Unfortunately this is not a problem there. First of all, everything is offered and billed, regardless of whether you can or not. What can I say? In the end it was almost 90 euros for two steaks that were not ordered, two 0.2 liter cokes and a ruined 2nd wedding anniversary. It is therefore clear to us that this will not be our restaurant and that we advise everyone against it. As a side note. The quite ordinary steak house chain "Maredo" is tastefully, in our opinion much better. And you are not "ripped off" with the prices of the food and drinks. Just as a comparison ...

One of the best steak houses, the service is excellent and the kitchen very tasty. Recommended 8 stars 5 unfortunately only go. We would love to come back.

Most excellent steakhouse

Is a great restaurant and can be recommended without reservation. The food was great and the service very courteous, the wines perfectly matched to the meal, the starters were a dream and the main courses were awesome. The steaks just the way they should be. Both in terms of taste and tenderness. What we found particularly great was that we did not have to leave our dog at home and even the dog was gladly seen and looked after. So you wish for a successful evening. Thank you very much

A really great restaurant with a nice atmosphere - for both private and business appointments. The starters and especially the main courses are a real highlight - great meat, firm vegetables, good quantities! Another plus: tables can be reserved easily via the Internet. I subtract one star, however, because the time between the courses was a bit long and the desserts in comparison to the main course tasted significantly less.

Super great atmosphere. Food is great too. Been there many times. What needs to be improved is that special requests are often not taken into account in the dishes, but the staff handles them very easily and replenishes the missing ingredients.

We were curious because of the positive feedback and enjoyed a terrific dinner here today! The prices are of course upscale, but not overdone. Our food came quickly and hotly to the table, everything was tasteful (main course and dessert) excellent and precise, in advance the meat was shown and explained. The ambience was also very appealing and the staff very accommodating. We will be back!

Smaller but fine steakhouse. Not pushy, very nice and attentive service. Relatively small menu, around the steak. The meat can be viewed live at the beginning and then decide what one's taste is. The prices are in the upper range, but you are fed up in the end and there is nothing to regret. I certainly was not there for the last time.

Nice and cozy place. The restaurant chef did serve us personally. Awesome beef selection from around the world with interesting interpretation of dishes. We had Tafelspitz and Rumpsteak, which both were on point. The desert alone would be worth to stop by.

Excellent food, great service, nice wines. They even have a Hungarian waiter, with whom I really enjoyed talking on my mother language. The place is no1 for me in Hanau.

The steaks were prepared very well and the taste was excellent. The noise level can get a bit out of hand when the place fills up. Parking close by can be a bit tricky but if you mobile you will find a spot within walking distances without problems. Prices are fair for the products served. Not expensive but not cheap either. A good value I would say for what you get.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and courteous service. The food is excellent and of high quality. There is a selected menu which includes a starter, main course and dessert at a fair price. The prices are generally a bit higher, but the fine ingredients are also right. My steak was fried to the point and delicious. From now on my new favorite address if I want a good piece of meat.

Very cozy and sophisticated restaurant. Especially in the cold season, you can sit very comfortably in the small restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty. It was definitely not the last time I ate the truffle pasta and the meat was also very tender. I will gladly come again.
